Sanganer block printing, almost 500 years’ old, can be rightly categorized as a ‘Heritage Craft’. It reached great heights during the 16th and 17th century in all European countries and became one of the major exports of the East India Company. Sanganer printing is recognized internationally for its traditional style of printing done with natural dye. The artists use both vegetable and chemical dyes to create colorful patterns of sunflowers, roses, geometric designs, crafting beautiful prints known for their fine and intricate detailing
